The Phone-a-thon, a major annual appeal, is held every fall to fund the Salolampi participant/ scholarships for the coming year. Salolampi Board members and volunteers call throughout the country to addresses that are on the Foundation’s database. The generous support from the Thrivent Financial in Minneapolis provides fifteen telephones available for three evenings in September. A portion of the Foundation’s endowment is invested with Thrivent Financial.
